Consultations

If you are concerned about a hair or scalp issue, then your first step is to have a consultation so that I can diagnose the problem, establish the cause, and explain your options for dealing with it. Ideally you should do this as soon as possible. Depending on the diagnosis, conditions caught early before they have had chance to progress and when scarring is minimal, will have the best results. But don’t be put off if you haven’t acted quickly. Many of my clients say they have been waiting and worrying for months and even years. Others tell me they thought all hair loss was inherited, inevitable and there was nothing they could do about it - which is absolutely not the case. The most important thing is that you’ve summoned up the courage now, so let’s take it from there, see what’s going on and what’s the best plan to sort it out.

At a time when you’re probably feeling less than your best, I want you to feel comfortable, confident and happy about your appointment with me – and that your anxiety is lifted after we’ve met. That’s why I offer a range of consultation types to suit most people. If you’re worried but don’t know which is right for you or you aren’t ready to jump straight into having a consultation, then contact me and we can have an initial chat.

Your consultation is a private appointment and not supported by the NHS. Subsequently if any of the services or treatments you need are available on the NHS, I will advise of that. I can work alongside your GP or refer to other specialists so that you receive the best treatment and care as quickly as possible, and bearing in mind your budget.

All consultations are confidential and adhere to strict ethical professional standards. I will never promise a miracle cure and there is never an obligation or any pressure to have a consultation or follow the advice I offer. Your personal data, records and photographs are stored securely and treated confidentially in accordance with data protection legislation.
